Whether it's a stills shoot, full-length documentary, social content, an experiential campaign or a full-scale commercial production, we handle it from concept to completion.
And we make it all in the Gather Productions way; with attention to detail, beautiful visuals and an emphasis on collaboration, creativity and humour.

Research & Development
Our secret weapon. Coming from a documentary background, we are adept at finding the people with the stories worth telling. We’re also experienced in navigating funding, pitching and factual series development for both long and short form content.
Production
Big or small, we handle all the moving parts. From creative, casting and locations right through to post production and everything in between, including animation, motion graphics and stills.
Meet Sarah Kinniburgh.
Founder-Executive Producer
Producer, problem solver, team cheerleader and creative, Sarah has worked across factual and commercial production for over 20 years, both here in Aotearoa and the UK.
Sarah has developed and produced a raft of factual series for key local broadcasters, including Googlebox NZ, Neighbourhood, Dreams Lie Deeper and Serious Crash Unit.
An experienced multi-camera producer, Sarah produced the filming and live stream of the Iheart Radio concerts including Lorde and Ed Sheeran and the 2023 NZ TV Awards finalist, Matariki - a concert with Rob Ruha. She also produces the filming of the annual Apra Silver Scroll Awards.
She’s worked with numerous brands and agencies across commercial, social and experiential productions, including Coca Cola NZ, Ryman Healthcare, Trade Me, Cure Kids, Whittakers, Sky TV, Bidfood, McDonald’s NZ, AA Insurance and Samsung.
